Despicable Me 3

Rundown

Steve Carrell is back for another round of god-awful eastern European accent and mystifyingly cute minions. This time he’s accompanied by a villain who might single-handedly make the Despicable Me franchise worth paying attention to again after the snooze-fest that was the Minions movie (turns out cute, mostly indecipherable minion-speak wasn’t enough to keep our attention.) Moonwalking his way through the trailer with a dated mullet, flamboyant shoulder-padded purple outfit, and white kicks, Balthazar Bratt is Gru’s ultra-ridiculous new target (voiced by South Park‘s Trey Parker.)

Interestingly enough, the minions are only seen for a blip of the trailer, making us wonder if that’s any indication of how big of a role they’ll get in this next Despicable Me flicks. Only time will tell… ba-nana!
