It would appear that ‘March Madness’ is no longer reserved for college basketball, and Netflix’s team is stacked. Here’s hoping you didn’t commit too many plans this month because the streaming service is going to be keeping you busy.
Love returns for its second season on March 10 and it looks like stoner love-drug-and-sex addict Mickey Dobbs (Gillian Jacobs) and her wannabe screenwriter love interest Gus Cruikshank (Paul Rust) have managed to salvage their relationship after an explosive break-up.
Julie Andrew‘s has joined Netflix’s cast of stars with Julie’s Greenroom – an educational pre-school television series. In the same vein as Sesame Street, the show even has its own muppet-esque “Greenies,” built by the Jim Henson Company, and will feature guest stars from Alec Baldwin to Carol Burnett.
The streaming service continues to build its Marvel world on March 17 with Iron Fist. Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a tragic plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) inexplicably returns to his home in New York City to take back his family’s company.
Burning Sands starring Moonlight‘s Trevante Rhodes, Alfre Woodard and Trevor Jackson of American Crime is a new original film acquired at Sundance. The film explores the violent side of a Black fraternity during the middle of hell week. A favored pledge is forced between honoring a code of silence or standing up against the violence.
And arguably most buzzworthy, Dave Chappelle will make his triumph return to the comedy stage with two specials out March 21.
